  • Changing rims from 18" to 15"...any problems?

I have a 2006 Scion xB with 18" rims (tire size 215/35/18) that were installed when I bought my car. One of my rims cracked yesterday, and I've had nothing but problems with these tires/rims (4 tires blown in the past 2 years). So since they don't even make my rims anymore, I am just going to downgrade to some stock 15" Scion xB rims.

My question is will I have to make any sort of modifications to use the new 15" rims (other than get new tires)? I should just be able to pull off the 18's and put on the 15's, right?

    Thanks!

  • 2002 Cougar - Studders at Idle/Acceleration?

I have a 2002 Cougar. All of a sudden today (mid-day, after being driven at least twice in the morning without incident) my car started to jerk/studder a little while I was stopped and waiting to turn. From this point the problem has continued. It is usually only when I am completely stopped at a light or something, and then when I begin to go again it will sputter a little. It is fine once I get to speed, but occasionally it will do a light sputter when I am driving with a slight acceleration.

I have looked up alot already, and have come to the following possibilities:

    -Bad gas

    -Fuel Filter

    -Fuel Pump

    -Engine Mounts

I did get gas recently (Friday), but have only driven it 3 times before today. So it very well could be the gas, but I would have though it would have shown up before now. I put a Gas Treatment in tonight though.

Any help is appreciated. I am trying to get this figured out without having to bring it in and pay a hefty amount. Thanks! Sorry this was so long!

  • What the hell is that leafy fruit in the Fruit of the Loom commercials?

I know the others are apple, grapes, grapes, etc., but what is the leafy one? I can't think of any fruits that fit that description.
