Why do 'free' genealogy sites always lead to My Ancestry.com?
I see lots of ads for 'free' genealogy sites, however, once you to there and dig deeper....they all lead to My Heiritage.com which leads to My Ancestry.com = which CHARGES you for their information. Why say 'free' when it really is NOT?
8 AnswersGenealogy4 years agoWhy am I having problems loading Pogo games?
I pay, yearly, to play Pogo games. About 6-months ago I began to experience problems down loading a lot of the games I normally play. Very few down load easily and most take forever or do not down load at all.

4 AnswersMedia & Journalism5 years agoHow do I remove a photo from a picture frame glass?
I have a photo of my children, when they were younger, and the photo has been in the picture frame for quite some time.
The photo seems to be stuck onto the glass, in the picture frame, and I can't get the photo away from the glass. Does anyone have an idea how I can detach the photo from the glass without destroying the photo?
2 AnswersPhotography5 years agoHow can I use my computer to text to someone' cell phone?
We use the flip phones and texting blocked. Is there a way I can use my computer to text to a person who does have texting on their cell phone? Is this through a 'chat room' or what?

7 AnswersUnited States6 years agoDid anyone see what Obama's newest executive order is?
It seems he totally believes he can get rid of every Congress member. He stated he has not been able to work with Congress at all and doesn't need them.
It's obvious this DELUSIONAL president does NOT know the law.
14 AnswersCurrent Events6 years agoWho is at fault with the Ferguson protesters/rioters?
Under our First Amendment; Americans have the freedom of speech which prohibits the government from banning speech. Under the US Constitution Americans have the right to peaceably assemble.
Up until the Grand Jury made publically known their decision....all of the protesters were legal in what they were doing. Also, up until this time the Missouri governor called the Missouri National Guard to be in Ferguson to protect the town and businesses if the verdict was 'not guilty'.
Once the Grand Jury made their decision public....the protesters began rioting, stealing and destroying buildings ... all because Brown's step-father told them to 'burn it all down'. Also, right before this moment....the Missouri National Guard was ordered, by president Obama, to 'Stand Down'....therefore, the Missouri National Guard did nothing.
Is Brown's step-father at fault or the president for telling the National Guard to
'Stand Down'?
If Brown's step-father is at fault....then shouldn't he also be responsible for all the damage he incited?
If the president is at fault...then shouldn't he be responsible for all the damage done because he ordered the National Guard to 'stand down'?

If a state legalizes marijuana and employers demand drug testing...what happens? Can an employer still require the drug testing or are results a moot point?
5 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoWhat makes a person decide to be gay?
If a person is born a certain sex - why does he or she decide they want to be gay? I'm looking for logical and truthful answers.
If a person was married, to the opposite sex, then why switch to being gay during the marriage or after a divorce?

3 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoWho else thinks Venessa Stiviano should apologize?
Venessa Stiviano duped Donald Sterling into recording over 100-hours of private (in a home) conversations. Stiviano's lawyer seems to think this is all ok.....what college did he go to?
During Stiviano's interview, with Barbara Walters...Stiviano thought Sterling should apologize.
I'm saying to myself 'what about Stiviano and her ILLEGAL recordings of private (in a home) conversations?' But then again, Stiviano has a quite extensive criminal history so I guess
this is nothing new to her.......
I think Venessa Stiviano is the ONLY one who must apologize for creating this entire mess.
Stiviano posed with African American athletes and Sterling had nothing to do with that at all.
Venessa Stiviano must apologize to Donald Sterling, Sterling's family, the L.A. Clippers team, the NBA, the media, the fans and America.
5 AnswersCelebrities7 years agoWhy does my flash player not work?
I've tried to use numerous programs (games) and I receive a message; Adobe Flash Player out of date.
I try to play Farmville2, in Facebook, and a message instructs me to down load an updated Adobe Flash Player version. I go onto the Adobe Flash Player site, to down load an updated version and receive this message; Flash Player is integrated with Internet Explorer in Windows 8. You do not need to install Flash Player.
I feel like I'm in an endless loop with no way out or solution and I still can't play the games I love.
I bought a new laptop and never had this problem with my 2009 desktop.
I could just use my old desktop and drop kick this new laptop but then I've just wasted over $800.
I feel this new laptop is my Achilles Heel and am extremely frustrated with it.
Is there a solution?
1 AnswerAdd-ons7 years agoWhy am I getting so many pop-ups and unwanted junk on my new laptop?
We just bought new laptops around the first of this month. Ever since then, even using Norton 360, I have been invaded with tons of pop-ups and unwanted ads but only when I play games on Pogo. How do I get rid of these? It's driving me crazy. I spend all my time clicking on 'X's than trying to play a game.
Once I do get into a Pogo game....a pop-up appears, at the top, will NOT go away and I can't get to what I need to play the game, therefore, I exit out and just don't play anymore.
I went through my 'install/uninstalls', got rid of a few things and all was good. A few days later - it happened again, so I went through my 'install/uninstalls' again, and do not find anything new listed but they continue to stop me from playing Pogo games and will not go away. Even when I go into my Pogo account and click on 'help'....it redirects me to everything but Pogo help.
I'm ready to 'drop kick' this new laptop and go back to my reliable desktop because it never had this problem.
