  • Lying about something so small?

I have a new boyfriend, we've been together for about a month. Yesterday he brought over a bottle of wine and when I mentioned that it tasted amazing, he said 'it should do for £12!'

I didn't think much of it until I went to buy another bottle and it was £5.99.

Why would he lie like this? We get on like a house on fire and the chemistry is amazing. It seems like such a stupid thing to say, and my trust is compromised. Should I let it slide or should I challenge him on it?

  • Endometriosis: Sudden increasing pelvic pain. What should I be expecting? Feeling quite stressed.?

I was diagnosed with Endo at about 26, but I'm aware of symptoms as far back as aged 14 when I first discovered bleeding from my colon. I've been very lucky having a baby cured my endo tempriarily and I have been breastfeeding for two years which has left me symptom free. Now that my daughter is weaning, the pain is coming back and it's getting worse the last few weeks, I've been having pelvic pain so bad that I've found housework, particularly if i need to bend, a struggle. I would like to know if this is a normal part of endo? Do symptoms suddenly get this bad or should I be worried? Please help!

  • My 12 month old is suddenly having trouble napping!?

My 12 month old has always been a champion sleeper. She has suddenly (in the last week or two) had a lot of trouble going to sleep for her nap time. She has been teething and has been poorly which hasn't helped, but now we're over that, her routine has gone and she's not able to get back into the swing of things.

She is used to sleeping 7:30 pm - 8:30 am (still no problems with that one)

    and 1.30 pm - 3.30pm daytime nap.

Any ideas how to get back?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Can give my 10 month old water with vegetable vitamins? (strange question)?

I noticed that when I boil up my daughter's veggies, there is a lot of left over water that clearly contains vitamins. If i cooled this, do you think it would be weird to give it to my daughter as a drink?

  • Any ideas for a leaving do? (Going on maternity leave)?

I'm going on maternity leave at the beginning of December, I work at a place where we're all on minimum wage, so money is a big issue. Luckily, I leave two days after payday - but I don't know what I can do that will interest everyone and cater to everyone's cultural needs (drink and diet).

I would have gone bowling, but the balls are too heavy!

Also, should I go on a thursday night or wait till friday?

    Any ideas?

  • 19 weeks pregnant and only gained 3lb?

I began pregnancy at a relatively healthy weight. I have a very large bust which adds weight, but I am overall active and healthy. I weighed 12st 9lb before pregnancy and now weigh 13st. It sounds fat, but my boobs weigh about a stone.

I'm worried that 3lb isn't enough weight for 19weeks. I had terrible morning sickness and it's only just tailing off now. Should I be concerned?

  • Did I feel my baby when I woke up this morning?

I was on my side all last night and when I felt my belly on the side, I think I felt the shape of my baby. It might have been something else, but it did feel like it's head or back. Is that possible or could it be the side of my uterus? It wasn't moving, but as soon as I lay on my back, I couldn't feel it anymore?

  • How to tell OH that I want to take a break from TTC?

Im in a bit of a state about this. I've been ttc with my partner of 4 years for about 5

months. This month, I've felt really distant from my partner and whenever I think of babies, my body is screaming 'NO!'

I made a clanger of a mistake and cheated on him with a very good looking friend of mine at New Years. We kissed several times during the night, but nothing else. I saw him again this weekend - and we kissed again. It's become a nightmare for

me as I feel I've totally disrespected my partner, but it seems to be highlighting the negatives in our relationship.

Im scared because he loves me deeply and I love him too. But, I don't think im in love with him any more. The spark has gone. We live together and it's become far too comfortable. We have sparce, often mundane sex and he spends lots of time on the computor watching boring TV. I'd like to tell him that I need a break From ttc to sort out where im at, but I don't want him to get down about it and I don't want to bring a baby into a world of bad parents. What can I do?

  • Just trying to get pregnant...and my friends tell me NOW that they're booking a holiday?!?

Hi, I'm just trying for a baby with my long term partner. We have wanted this for YEARS and now is the right time. I'm the first of all my friends to be taking the plunge into motherhood and, as yet, nobody knows we're trying. I'm ready for my social life to stop dead for at least a year, but could this be a reasonable last chance to have some me time?

It just so happens that my friends are booing a holiday away in early summer. By then, i could be 6 months pregnant! Is it wise to go on a holiday and miss out on the drinking and just relax by the pool or should I confess and not go?

Its not going to be a much of a drinking holiday at all, but it might be quite active, looking round local areas and maybe a day at a water park.

Is it healthy/wise to go?? This will be my first pregnancy. Mums..?

  • UK: Where do I go to get my mirena coil taken out? Do you have to be on your period?

It was put in by a surgeon during my laperoscopy, so I can't go back to ask them to remove it! Does it have to be a gp or a nurse or a family planning clinic?

  • Were you nervous when you tried for your first child?

I'm mostly nervous that we will be financially stable and happy as a couple after the birth. We are very social and are going to have to become a lot less social, especially as a couple! It's so life changing. Am I doing the right thing?

  • Were you nervous when you decided to try or your first baby?

I've been with my partner for 4 years and we want to try for a baby. I suffer from endometriosis and the pains are getting worse, if we wait to save for a wedding, it may be too late.

I'm really nervous of this lifechanging decision, though I know I'd love a baby of our own. How did you feel?

  • External flash for canon 450d?

I want an external flash for my canon camera so that when I photograph family events and our annual mini festival (almost pitch black), I can get the lighting right. Ive tried a diffuser but am looking for a better flash than the one on my camera. I don't know where to start! I don't like the shadows made by my normal flash and I don't like startling my subjects when they are having a nice drink! Any ideas? I've heard that I should be looking for a flash that bounces??
