  • What is the likelihood my CIN1 diagnosis is correct?

I have had two smear tests in the last three months, both of which came back normal. However because I bled during the first smear test, I was referred for a colposcopy. A punch biopsy taken during the colposcopy (at the same time the second smear test) came back positive for CIN1.

Since the two smear tests gave false negative results, what is the likelihood that the CIN1 diagnosis is correct? I am now rather worried that the problem may be more severe even than CIN1 since the condition was already missed twice in a row.
