I'm planning on moving to Seattle from Southern California and would like to know what to expect from someone living there that would be in a similar situation. I don't need to know about traffic or cost of living,...I live in CA it's 10x worse here. We just want to know if it is possible to find jobs pretty quickly, nothing fancy just maybe 20-30k a year jobs. Office asst. Warehouse manager.. stuff like that. I would love to live in an area where getting around w/out a car would be really easy. We both like walking and just hanging out at bars, restaurants, library's, parks stuff like that. I heard sales tax is pretty high there but We're at 9% ourselves so that shouldn't be a huge problem but is there any other downsides we might want to know about besides the usual Also is there any other upsides we should know about. Would really appreciate your help/incite/suggestions

From what we have found online, we really like the downtown area, Bellevue, Redmond, Mercer Island. Are these good areas to live in? Are there any other good areas that you could recommend.

By the way I'm not originally from So Cal so I'm not planning on taking a snobby attitude with me to Seattle or ruining your gorgeous city. Just really need a change and a fresh start in a new place.

I need to take the Metro Red Line from Hollywood and Highland to Universal City. Now I need to get to Lot 3 on Universal and I was wondering if anyone knew how far the Metro Red line stop in Universal City is to Lot 3??? Please Help?

Actually just museums that have anything by Da Vinci, Bernini, Raphael etc.... anything like that. I think The Getty has a few in LA but is there anywhere else?

Ok so this is a serious question...I want to know if it's possible for a dog to be retarted, (autistic). I have a Pomeranian/yorkie mix about 8 months old and he is honestly the weirdest dog I have ever seen. He is completely in his own world and does things I've never seen dogs do. So I just want to know if it's possible cuz if not then I think I have the worlds first Autistic dog...

P.s. he's awesome anyway and makes us laugh pretty much whenever we see him

I can't find this song anywhere and would really like to download it...(yes even pay for it) It is called "One Of Those Days" by Steph Jones...I've tried Limewire/itunes/amazon etc...and found other songs by him but no luck with this one...By the way i've been downloading music for about 7 years so I know what im doing..please no stupid answers...His LP never came out, so no that isn't an option either.
