  • Do I need a real estate agent?

I currently own a house that has been rented out for the last 2 years. I rented out the home because the economy was awful. However, my tenant would like to make an offer on my house? Do I need an agent? I mean, I know that I don't need to list, market, or do any of the other stuff I would be paying an agent to do. So is there need for an agent?

  • When buying clothes, should I accomodate height or weight?

I'm shopping for my daughter. She is 1 and in the 6-9 month size weight-wise, but 18-24 month size height wise. Is it better for clothes to be too baggy... or too short?

  • Question regarding homemade baby food?

I was making baby food for my daughter. I make squash, sweet potato, mango, avocado. And my baby accepted those. However, she flat out rejects anything else I make. For example, she'll eat peas, green beans, and carrots if they come from a jar - but not if I make them.

What is wrong with the food? It might be the texture - but it gets runny if I add more water... It could be the taste! But really baby food doesn't generally have much flavor - so how bad good what I make be ?

I don't mind feeding her jar food for veggies! But chicken and all in a jar is not an option! Any suggestions on making it more palatable to her...

  • Any suggestions on breaking the nursing to go to sleep habit?

Like many babies, my 5-month old daughter had the habit of nursing to go to sleep. I have been successful in breaking the habit for daytime sleep. However, nighttime has been a challenge.

For the last few nights, she wakes up every 1 to 1 and half. I decided to NOT nurse her every time and try to get her to go back to sleep some other way (me rocking/singing to her). If worked one time, but the rest of the times, she would be quite content to stay awake till it really was time to nurse her! Needless to say... I am exhausted! Does anyone have a better strategy? My daughter doesn't take a bottle or a pacifier... so that is out...

  • Should I take baby on a 15 hour flight?

My cousin is getting married in another country. To get there, we have to take a 15 hours flight. Originally, my husband and I were going to take our daughter (8 month at the time) to go to the wedding. However, he can't go now because of work issues.

My question is, should I still go? My husband is nervous about me going on such a LONG flight with our baby and without him! Also, once I get there, I'll have to stay with the in-laws. I get along with the in-laws, but partly because my husband is a buffer between us.

I'm nervous about the flight too. However, I feel bad disappointing my cousin and other family members that wanted to meet my baby! What would you do?

  • How much should my baby sleep?

My daughter sleeps about 12 hours at night (waking up for feedings are few times). She is five months. Can I still expect her to nap much during the day? She only takes cat naps during the day - never really long naps.

  • What is the best clothing option for babies that are tall and thin?

My daughter is 5 months and 27.5 inches. However, she only weight 15 lbs. Whenever I buy clothes to accommodate her height, they hang on her? Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is she just fated to wear baggy clothes for the time being!
