  • Can I play games on Virtual Box?

Windows 10 is my host OS. I have several OS installed on Virtual Box. Every game I try to install on every guest OS returns the error "the procedure entry point could not be located in kernel32.dll". I have installed Guest Additions and enabled 3D acceleration and it made no difference. What can be done?

  • Why don't long videos play?

I installed Windows 10 on an 11 year old PC. On You Tube, only shorter videos play well. Longer videos like movies, are extremely laggy. It's not a connection problem, since there are no such problems on any of my other devices.

  • How do I get these videos to play?

I installed Windows 10 on a 12 year old PC. Pre-recorded videos didn't play well with the default video player. I replaced it with windows media player classic and now they play fine.

Now, I'm having the same problem playing online videos. They're extremely laggy. I assume I have to change the video player again, but how do I do that for online videos?

  • What happens to the bootloader?

I have a dual boot of Win 10 & Win 7. If the PC is already on and I restart, the bootloader menu comes up. However, if I shut it down and turn it back on, it bypasses the bootloader, and immediately goes into Win 10. How can I get the bootloader to show up on both occasions?

  • Why is this installation not activated?

I installed Windows 7 with a self activating disc. When I checked the system settings, it said that it was activated. From that installation, I upgraded to Windows 10. That was also activated.

I decided that I still had use for W7, so I partitioned the hard drive, and installed the same W7 disc on the new space. However, now it says that this W7 is not activated. I tried entering the product key that came with it, but it didn't work.

Is one of the installations from the first partition affecting this? If not, what else could it be?

  • Who built the cages?

Tonight, Biden talked about kids in cages. Trump asked Biden who built them. Biden had NO answer. What does this tell you about where Republicans and Democrats really stand on immigration?

  • Why is digital "static" different from analog static?

If an analog TV channel isn't picking up a signal it displays a snowy, noisy picture. A digital channel with no signal will just go blank. What causes this difference?

  • Would Obama have contained Coronavirus? ?

Last week, President Obama claimed that he was responsible for containing H1N1 and Ebola.

Was his administration the reason those diseases didn't spread, and could he have done the same for Covid-19?

  • Can an inverter be used on TV signals?

DC current and Digital TV signals are both carried by a square wave. AC current and the old Analog TV signals are both carried by a sine wave. An electrical inverter is used to to turn DC current into AC current. Is there a way to modify an electrical inverter so it could do the same for OTA TV signals?

  • Is returning to a Fee for Service system the solution to Health Care?

Suppose insurance only covered catastrophic cases. Everything else would be out of pocket. Wouldn't this bring real competition and drive prices down? How would this system compare to other countries?

  • Could we Nuke our garbage?

I was watching a video about the idea of sending garbage into to the Sun, and how expensive and risky it would be.

Then I thought; we have mini Suns right here on Earth. They're called nuclear weapons. Couldn't we send the garbage to an isolated area and vaporize it?

  • Can DTV signals be converted back to analog?

In 2009 analog signals were turned off in favor of digital. The problem is that DTV signals are binary. Either you get a perfect signal or you get no signal. Analog signals are multipath. The picture might not be perfect, but at least you get a signal.

Is there a way to convert the digital signals back to analog once they reach you?

In 2009, they gave out coupons for converter boxes, but those boxes don't convert the signal to analog. That just allow you to watch digital signals on an analog TV.
