Is this an intrusion upon seclusion?
While you're in the home of someone you're close to, going up to a closed bedroom door then practically insisting to the person who's in there on being let into it
5 AnswersEtiquette1 week agoIs this against the law?
if you were to send someone an angry letter in the mail, instruct them to commit suicide or to kill themselves
3 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 week agoIs this a compassionate thing to do?
on your own free will without being asked to do so: go to see how one is doing despite the fact that they warn you that they look opposite of presentable even if you're close to this person (not acquaintances)
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 week agoWould it be inappropriate to ask someone to do this?
You’re going to wash dishes a few minutes later. Plenty of dirty forks, spoons, knives, plates, bowls, mugs, & pans are sitting in the sink. Someone decides to have cereal, so he starts to take a ceramic bowl from the cabinet & a silver spoon from a drawer. When you see him doing that, you ask him to use a paper bowl & a disposable plastic spoon instead, so you’d have less to wash.
Would this be a bit much to ask him that?
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 week agoIs it punctilious for a teacher to demand where you were if she's starting to close the door right as you're going thru the doorway?
Or is it normal?
You were the very last person to arrive to class and the person who got there immediately before you is near his seat but hasn't sat down yet
3 AnswersEtiquette2 weeks agoWould this be meddlesome?
At your workplace, you notice a coworker (aka Person A) show another coworker (aka Person B) a picture during lunch. At least a half hour after lunch is over, you drop what you're doing then walk up to Person A while he's working to ask him about it. After he answers, you ask to see it.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 weeks agoIs it normal to not be able to sense that someone is shouting to you in this case?
The person is virtually on the opposite side of the room or at least many feet away, there are other people near you, and the person doesn't even shout your name. The person doesn't at least point to you or describe what you look like such as your hair color or shirt color. And you're not trying to get attention nor intentionally standing out.
Or would there be something wrong with me if I had that problem?
Is it normal to not be able to tell that they're trying to get your attention in the conditions?

While you're company in the house of someone you're close to, practically insisting on being allowed in a bedroom altho its door was initially closed.
Would this be an invasion of privacy?

You’re about to wash dishes in about a half hour. The sink is pretty much filled with dirty dishes (ie silverware, plates, bowls, cups, etc). Someone has an appetite for cereal, so he starts to take a bowl from the cupboard and a spoon from a drawer. When you see him doing that, you ask him to use a paper bowl and a disposable plastic spoon instead, so you’d have less dishes to wash. Would it be appropriate to ask him that?

7 AnswersEtiquette2 weeks agoWould it be nervy to say this?
You use something that can hit someone if they were to come into its path right next to someone's bag that holds their important belongings. When there's temporarily no activity is when they decide to quickly get them. While they're picking them up is when you tell/taunt them to get out of the way or they'd get hurt.
Their stuff was there first. You carelessly/nonchalantly picked that spot altho there were empty areas available. They waited until there was no movement, so they assumed it was finally safe to get their thing(s). Plus, they don't have all day or else they'd be late for their next destination. Even if your intention was good to *warn* them, would it be nervy to tell them that in this case-even if said it playfully?

on your own free will without being asked to

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 weeks agoWhy did my professor get so hostile?
I had my professor inspect my design work on my laptop to get it approved; an example was to get ideas/suggestions from her. My apple laptop was on a table a few feet away from her desk, and we were looking at my screen together while sporadically communicating. During that, someone suddenly went up to her because he needed her then both of them walked away and talked. After he finally left the room, I waited for that professor to resume looking at my work on my laptop. Since I waited for a really long time, I assumed she just forgot. So, I finally lifted up my laptop and carried it over to her when she happened to be standing less than a foot away from her desk. When she saw me, I expected her to be like *Oh* Instead, she suddenly snapped really loud with clenched teeth & wild eyes, "You need to print those out, Kathy!"
2 AnswersEtiquette2 weeks agoIs it reasonable to yell at someone for not answering the phone while it's ringing?
if it's only just you and that other person in the house. The nearest phone is in the kitchen but both of you are sitting in the living room.

While in someone else's house other than your own, going up to their kid's bedroom door that happens to be initially closed & practically insisting to be let in [to see whoever's in there]
You know he's in there. If he refuses to answer and if he's not getting changed/dressed, his mom would allow you to get the key from the top of the master bedroom's doorway to unlock his door.
Would this be an invasion of privacy?
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 weeks agoIs this normal?
to have no memory of someone you've seen for 25 consecutive years
most of the time-it was every 6 months
sometimes-it was 3 or 4 times a year you saw this person
then you stopped seeing this person for 4-5 years
Is it normal to have no memory of this particular person?
