I installed a new heater core and ac/heater controller in my car and when I turn the heat on there is NO HEAT! You can hear the blower motor going and I just don't understand why there is no heat. The rear defrost does work. Yet now its winter time and its cold. Has anybody worked on the heater core. This type of car uses cables when you turn the knobs that go back to the black box underneath. Just can't figure out why I don't get any heat. Please help me if you can. I have asked a few mechanics and they can't find it. But somewhere in Yahoo World somebody has had this problem like me. I hope you can help me...please. Thanks for looking.

I replaced my brakes and rotar in the front on my cavalier. When I tried to tighten the sliders{bolts} the one on the bottom would not tighten. Its just snug or loose. Now I get pulsing when I break. Anybody have this problem? Can I remove caliper with the new brake pads on without effecting the piston? Or do I just take the new brake pads out and use a c clamp and start over again? Then I could try a different slider and see if that works. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a laptop that is new and it has Windows 7. When I boot up there is a dialog box that says it seems your last session ended abruptly, would you like to go to last session or home page. This happens every time. It is annoying. I just want to log on IE and go to my home page. Does this happen to anyone else out there in Yahoo A.? Thanks in advance.

I purchased a Acer 5552 Triple Core laptop from tv and am very pleased. I tried using Crystal Webcam to upload a 5 minute video and youtubee says it would take 8 hours to do it. Do I need additional software when using this webcam. It came installed by the way. I am also using windows 7 if that matters. Can't I make the videos upload faster some how? Appreciate any help.

Ok I just had a check up and my optomoligist says I have katerrack! I am from China and came to America to have my eyes checked. I speak very little english. Anyway I told the doctor, "no have katerrack, have rincon continental". I need to know what the best types or most popular frames are these days from all who wear glasses. Plastic or metal? I like plastic rectangular so far. I read alot and give public lectures and stuff. I knew there would be a time when I would need glasses. But you need to start with frames and the local optican had thousands to choose from. So please just give me your opinion about this. I am not really from China Stephanie just kidding. I am from NJ. My 01 Chevy heat works but when I try and use the defroster it does not. I smell some anti-freeze comming through the vents. Dosen't the heat and defrost work together? Anybody have a problem like this.

I have an 01 Cavalier and there is play when I jack car up and pull tire back and forth. The local backyard mechanics think its a tire rod end. It only happens on one side. The car vibrates when I step on brakes. Any way I can visuallly see if the tire rod is bad? Thanks in advance for help.

My muffler fell off the end of my car by the clamp that holds the pipe from the manifold. It was rusted in that area only. So I cut the pipe and used a adapter to go into the muffler and also fit the existing pipe which is still pretty good. Once and a while my tempture gauge goes up and down but the car does not seem to overheat. I just did this job this weekend. I checked the fluids under hood they are ok. Is it related to this adapter, the tempture gauge going up and down. It usually does this when I Idle in traffic. The cars runs good. No crazy loud muffler sound at all. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any thoughts at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My friend is rebuilding a 1932 Ford Flat v 8 like the American Grafitti Car. It is really cool. He has it running and is concerned about the radiator since we live on the East Coast. Did they have anti -freeze back then? He does not think so. Anybody have a car or know somebody on the EC than knows how they kept from freezing. He took the car to a show in Jersey and the guy who played John Milliner was there. Paul Lamont. He was supposed to bring the car but it was still in California being worked on. So any thoughs would be appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Ok I have a broken muffler strap on my car and there is one bolt at bottom and the strap wraps around the muffler with a pointed piece that goes through a rubber piece. Do I try and push it out? One of my friends said he had to cut it off, the piece that goes through the rubber part. But the new one has to go on and be put through the rubber piece, so anybody have any experience with this. Thanks in advance. I live in the middle of nowhere so if I break down with a muffler hanging nobody is going to help except the guy with the cigar in his mouth who just happens to own a tow truck. LOL

When I use IE the text and everything is clear and the page loads good. When I use the browser most people feel is better the text is poor and the page loads are not so great. Sometime the page looks retarded. Any thoughts. I would at least like to see the text better. Thanks in advance.

I have a Dell Dimension series desktop PC and it has two DVD drawers. One open just fine for music and movies. If I want to burn a CD my bottom drawer does not open. I press button and you can hear motor running but it does not open unless I give it some help with a nife or something on the side insert. Any thoughs on how to attemp to fix it, before I go to geek squad?

I have 1.5 DSL connection to the net and very often I get a message IE cannot display web PAGE. And sometimes when I connect to Yahoo it connects me to a travel agency page. POP ups galore too when I use standard search engine. Any thoughts what might be wrong. When I try to connect to a web page again it still take me to one I don't want to be at. My right fender on an 01 Cavalier was hit by a deer. I replaced the fender, open hood 4 bolts on top, two down under the bottom of fender and two underneath on the right side that are upright. I lost those two bolts. Any idea what kind they are and where I can get them. Thanks in advance for help.

I am a private contractor hired by an agency to do work for a major corporation. The Corporation owes the agency 77,000. I have not got paid, but will. How can I get my 401k monies regardless. I means I have no money to eat or pay rent. I am working but have not gotten a check, but will. But I can't go to the store and tell them I will get a check soon. Same with landlord. I called them up those taking care of my 401k and they said I can't get monies. I make the contributions, its my money yes? I just want to get it, regardless of penalties. Please let me know if I can some how legaly. Thanks in advance.
