  • How common is it to get pregnant using the Pull Out method?

Just wondering how many people out there have gotten pregnant by this method?

My husband and I aren't actively trying to get pregnant (though we wouldn't be upset AT ALL having another baby) but we have always only used this method and I have only had one pregnancy (Literally, the ONLY time he 'went' inside me). We have been together and monogamous for 9 years now and this method has worked wonders for us. Has it worked for you or anyone else you know?

  • We're desperate to get pregnant! Think this will work?

My husband and I have been married for seven years. We have a four year old little boy and have decided to try for number two. I took my last Depo shot in August (I only took 2 shots, one in May and one in August), and I have been having spotting since December. (We conceived our son while I was on the shot 5 years ago, so I never experienced the side effects.) I saw my doctor and he suggested that we try other methods to getting pregnant, like a syringe. I find that completely unromantic. Anyway, we've been manually inserting his semen to ensure that it is close to my cervix. (He ejaculates on my stomach and immediately wipes it up with his fingers and inserts it in my vagina) Doctor told us that the semen IS viable as long as it is used immediately and not dried out. (I have done my research). Have you or anyone you know gotten pregnant this way? Obviously, we understand that him ejaculating inside of me is the best way, but we're trying anything at this point. Please only kind responses! Thank you!

  • Anyone else get pregnant while on the birth control shot Depo?

I recently changed to a new OBGYN and while relaying my history, I mentioned that I had gotten pregnant with my son while on Depo. He was shocked and said that he had never heard of that before. I find this hard to believe...

Anyone else out there to whom this has also happened??

  • I want another baby SO bad. My husband does not. Help!?

When our son was turning one year old, I talked to my husband about having another baby. He told me we could try once our son hit his second birthday. When his second birthday came and went, my husband changed his excuse to "we can't afford it". Same excuse around his third birthday. In 9 days, our son will be turning 4. My husband has FINALLY admitted (though I knew all along) that he just plain doesn't want another baby. I am completely heartbroken and don't know what to do. Having more than one child means the world to me. He knew before we got married that I wanted to have three children and he agreed. I don't really know the details as to why he does not want another one as he never wants to talk about it.

I have wanted another baby for 3 years now. It has gotten to the point where I have even thought of tricking him to end up pregnant (i.e. stop taking birth control and not tell him {though I could never do that}). I need help dealing with this. Again, he refuses to talk to me about it, but it's ALL I think about. I want another child so badly that some nights, I even cry myself to sleep. I just don't know where to go from here. I am not even really sure what (or if) I am asking a question... just maybe looking for some encouragement or help in making him see how important this is to me... at the same time trying to respect HIS opinion.

  • Please, help me find help!?

I have been in a bad marriage for too long. At the risk of telling too many details, I and my son have been victims of emotional abuse and I have experienced the physical as well. I do have one police record on file. I have left him 3 times. Each time, he somehow convinces me to take him back. I want to leave him for good this time. I have been trying to make plans to pick up my son and move out of state. But I literally have nothing. No money (I don't have a job and I am not allowed to have access to any of the money... not that there is any) I have no car, no job, no place to live. But I know I have to do this. Please, if you know of any free programs that I can look into, I would appreciate the advice. I am literally at my wits end and I have no idea where to start looking. Please be gentle with the responses, I feel bad enough asking complete strangers for help! Thank you in advance!

  • What is going on with my period?

I'm probably going to give a lot more detail than is needed, but I want to cover all grounds...

Before I had my son (three years ago) my period was like clockwork, coming every 28 days. Since my son, it has been 26-28 days apart. Ok... so...

I have been begging my husband for another child for 2 years now. I got him at a weak moment (lol) and he 'went' inside me (I was ovulating). I was so sure I was pregnant, but sure enough, got my period two weeks later. :( now here I am, 14 days later and I got my period again!! (two weeks ago, it was a normal flow, but this time it is pretty light) I'm so confused, I should be ovulating right now! Does this happen to anyone else? What is going on? I wanted to ask my doctor, but figured I would get opinions from other woman first...

I might be coming off as naive (maybe I am!?) however, I figured this is a safe place to ask. Thank you in advance for your kind answers!

  • Do I keep working on my marriage or walk away?

We have been married 5 years. We have a wonderful 2 year old son. To say the least, our marriage has been... rocky. We used to be very violent. I stopped, he turned it into emotional abuse. I took my son and left him 3 times. The third time I wanted to be gone for good. Had my own apartment and everything. Four days after I moved out, he had a heart attack. (He's only 27) I felt so guilt ridden, that I came home out of pity. It's been 3 weeks since his heart attack and he is still keeping his promise of changing his evil ways. (Trust me, thats a long time for him!) I honestly think this was the kick in the *** I wanted him to have. But now I worry that maybe it came too late. We start marriage counseling today, but I'm not 100% into it. I'm just so torn. I want to work on things to keep my family together, but I don't have the heart to tell him I'm not fully here. I'm not really sure what I'm asking... just need any advice really... so confused... thank you in advance!

  • My son listens to everyone but me! How do I get him to listen?! What am I doing wrong?

My son will be 2 in October. Everyone tells me that he is very well behaved and listens very well. He is even an angel with my husband. When I am alone with him (all day, every day), he climbs onto my dining room table and plays with the chandelier (I have since removed the chairs so he cant climb). He somehow finds a way to climb on top of our radiators, and he is now literally tearing pieces of wood off of our dining room set. I am consistent with punishment. I put him in the 'naughty chair', i have smacked his hands, and I am stern with him. No matter what I do, he literally laughs at me. I know he's testing me, but I'm running out of options. I get so frustrated no only because I am scared for his safety, but hes ruining my furniture! My husband and his mother (who happens to live next door) think its my fault because I dont pay enough attention to him. This is so far from the truth! I play with him all day, every day! What can I do?! Nice comments only please, I am trying my best!
