  • The flight data recorder for flight AirAsia Flight QZ8501?

The flight data recorder for flight AirAsia Flight QZ8501has been found. The plane's cockpit recorder has NOT been found. Why would you not design a recorder that records BOTH flight data and voice? How is it beneficial for these recorders to be separate?

  • I am thinking about starting up a lawn-care business, but working off of donations. Any opinions?

The market is completely saturated with lawn-care companies in this area. Anybody with a truck and a push mower is a lawn company these days. However, I think I've come up with a business plan that completely goes "outside of the box" and blows away the competition. Provide my services for "FREE", and allow the customer to donate after the completion of services. As long as they assist me in covering the cost of materials plus my time spent on the property, I'm good. Obviously, if they don't donate anything, then I won't be back on that property again. I basically have no start-up cost, and I'll be providing these services within a 2 mile radius of where I live, so I can literally walk to the property with my push-mower, etc. I believe that I'll find the customers quite generous. And, I don't think you'll find another lawn care service or, ANY service for that matter, that works from a business plan such as this. What are your thoughts on this? Am I completely nuts, or am I a genius? Thanks for your input.
