  • Undiscovered bands with original music?

I am working on a comedy-news-type web series on YouTube and I'm looking for a song for the intro. So, if you are a singer or a part of a band with original music, please leave your links below! I only need about 10 seconds of a song, and of course you will be credited in every single video. Thank you!

  • Can someone please transcribe this audio clip?

I am working on a short film a short film and I am using this audio clip. The trouble is that the boy speaking has a very heavy African accent and the audio quality is not very good so sometimes it is hard to understand him. I started to transcribe it but found it very difficult as the clip went on. Would anyone be willing to do this for me? The clip is only very short. Thank you!

So far, what I understood was:

"When we got there, we got in an ambush. The rebels were attacking when we were in the bus. I did not shoot my gun at first, but when you looked around and soldiers...?"

  • Where to find old, antique photographs?

I have recently become intrigued by "found photography" and photo collecting. Basically where you go to flea markets or charity shops and buy old photographs taken by unknown people. They are generally very interesting old photos that you can buy for little money. The only problem is that I can't find anywhere that sells these. Does anyone know of a shop or market that sells these in Sydney or London?

  • What were these stories called?

My English teacher told us stories years ago about a Arabic man. One was about this man on a boat with a student and the boat started sinking or something and the student said the man couldn't read but the man said that he knew how to swim.

Sorry it's vague but I'm trying to remember the name of the man in the stories!

  • Best website to fundraise for non-profit charity?

I am starting a project to fundraise for a non-profit charity but I've never done it before. I want to use one of those websites that people can donate on but there are so many that I'm not sure which one to use. I need one the money that people donate will be donated directly to the organisation. I tried IndieGoGo but they only let you keep a campaign for up to 60 days and I want mine open until the end of the year. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • MacBook Pro shuts down after fully charging?

Recently, every time I go on my MacBook Pro after it is fully charged (the charger is still plugged in), I open it up to find that it has shut down and I have to reboot it every time. It never used to do this and it has only been happening the last few weeks, I was wondering if anyone knows why it is doing this and how I can stop it? Thank you.

  • Two or three syllable surname for a fictional character?

I need a two or three syllable surname for a fictional detective, something cool, not too common but not unrealistic. Something like (using names of famous TV show characters) Mulder, Sidle, Cabot or something like that... Thanks!

  • Where can I buy a trench coat?

I really like trench coats, but they're also really expensive. Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced trench coat that is waterproof (much like the one worn by Fox Mulder in The X Files)?

  • Medical advice for fictional book?

I am writing a mystery novel and the main character is a detective who is medically ill which causes him to often collapse on the job, despite taking medication. I do not know much about the medical side of things, however, and I would like to get things as accurate as possible. I was thinking that she could maybe have a tumour or a type of cancer, but I'm not sure if they would cause unconsciousness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How many people make up a Metropolitan Police Murder Investigation Team?

I am writing a book based around a Murder Investigation Team in London but I'm not sure how many members they usually consist of. From what I have seen in media, they are generally made up of a senior detective (Detective Inspector/ Detective Sergeant), junior detective (Detective Sergeant/ Detective Constable) and then they are overseen by a superior officer (Detective Chief Inspector/ Detective Superintendent). Does anyone know what the case is?

  • A word that means real/uncensored?

I am starting a reality series on YouTube where me and a few friends go around interviewing people in London on their opinions of current news topics. We are just struggling with a name. We were thinking Real London or Honest London but it's not quite what we're thinking. We need a word that means honest/ real/ uncensored/ not hiding the truth, but can't quite think of one, or find one. Please help!

  • Name for a YouTube series?

I am currently in the process of working on a YouTube series in which some friends and I walk around London doing things such as: giving homeless people money, buying things for people, interviewing people about current events, etc. And I have been struggling with a name. I want it to be something simple, preferably two words and with one of them being 'London'.

I came up with: WatchdogLondon, CitizenLondon, InvestigativeLondon and VoiceOfLondon.

I also liked LondonSpeaks but that URL was taken, and BreakingLondon, but that was too similar to Ray William Johnson's BreakingNYC.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
