  • Is this an ok reason to work from home?

I work tomorrow but I feel like I have a UTI and it is really hindering my ability to concentrate. I am debating on seeing a dr tomorrow but I am on the toliet trying to releive the pain/urge.. To make it worse I lost my cat today. My spouse is having a really difficult time dealing with it and I want to be there for them. This is a reallly busy time at work and I work on a team. But like I said I would be on the computer from home as much as I could. Just curious if it would be justified in your opinon

  • Break up woes - Is this reasonable?

My ex-fiance and I were together for 6 years, engaged for 3. During this period, we attended college and lived together. 1 year out of college, I decided to break up with him for various reasons (I didn't feel like we were the same people, I couldn't picture myself marrying him, I felt like I needed to do more before I got married, we just were not right together anymore, I was trying to be fair by breaking up - I had wanted this for a while and told him before). Our finances were so mixed up during this period. Who ever needed money, got it. Some other facts: I received more financial aid in college than him. I paid about 1/3 of the rent in college when we lived together and he paid the rest (through student loans). We have multiple credit cards between us (not shared). We have been broken up for about 1/2 year. He says I should pay half of his credit card debt and possibly half of the rent retrospectively for the time we were in college because he only accumulated it in his name because he thought we would pay it off together. I see it as a break up. I will pay half of the total credit card debt (regardless of whose name it is in) and that is it. **** happens and no one could foresee this coming. What do you think? Should I pay more, less?

  • What plants (including flowers, bushes, and shrubs) grow well in rocky soil?

I am looking to plant something against/near the back of a house in MA. The area gets partial sunlight (mostly in the afternoon). I believe it used to be a driveway in the 70s but now it is a good mix of gravel and soil. There is some grass and weeds covering part of it now. Any ideas?
