Several questions about Manga?
Sorry ahead of time for my misuse of certain terms. I have almost no manga knowledge.
I was reading about the creator of One Piece being sick and how the series was delayed until he recovered. From what I read, the series is released weekly.
Now, is it that way because of Shonen Jump's schedule, or because of the writer's preference to work weekly? It is possible to move it to monthly with regards to the writer's health?
After reading American comics for years, it seems stressful to release a 20 page chapter week after week.
1 AnswerComics & Animation8 years agoAbout the anime, Tiger and Bunny?
Would you recommend the series to someone who mostly reads American superhero comics?
I saw posters and videos for it while I was at Comic Con last year, and it seemed interesting with its use of real companies as the heroes' sponsors.
1 AnswerComics & Animation8 years agoWhat is your opinion of Aquaman?
And do you make your judgment from the actual comics, or from the old Super Friends cartoon & other TV parodies, like Family Guy?
This is just out of curiosity.
6 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoDo you believe in the idea that there is no bad character?
Morality aside, I think any existing character in comics can be great if the character is given the right creative team. It's possible that the superhero everyone thinks is terrible can become a superhero in the same level as Superman and Spider-Man
3 AnswersComics & Animation9 years agoHas there been a concert or tour you regret not going to?
I had planned on going to a Heaven and Hell show when they were in Atlantic City a couple of years ago, but I decided instead to go to NYC with family.
Little did I know, that show turned out to be Dio's final show with the band before his death a year later.
4 AnswersRock and Pop10 years agoWhat book do you NOT want to be made into a film?
I will be upset if they try to make The Sound and the Fury into a 2 hour film. It can't be done with that book. I would prefer a 4-part mini-series; that is the only way it can be faithful to the book.

Which video was more visually impressive? The high production music video by Lady Gaga or the one long take, Rude Goldberg video by OK GO?

5 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoTo Those who were part of the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott?
Do you own a copy of Left 4 Dead 2, completely forgetting the reason why you joined the boycott?
If you only have L4D1, are you satisfied there will be more DLC and support for the game in the spring?
4 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoHow long will a hip-hop artist's career last?
While rock bands from the '70s are still playing shows, such as AC/DC and Iron Maiden, early musicans of the hip-hop genre from the 80s and 90s aren't as active. Is it because some songs quickly become dated? And which current artists do you think will last longer?
3 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop1 decade agoWhy do some people have a strong dislike of anime?
I looked through the 30 Top Rated Animated films and while Miyazaki's films reached high ranks (Spirited Away was highest at 5), people commented they dislike Japanese cartoons and some wanted them excluded from the list.
I don't see anything wrong with anime, especially since the films are still mostly handrawn compared to most animated films now.
