Hey guys. I am making an Origins account (I have a code for Battlefield 4) and I am having a lot of trouble coming up with a good username. I don't want anything too feminine. I need to produce 10 random permutations of the numbers 1 through a max number that the user inputs. the array is called permutations[] = new int[maxnum];

Oh, and the random numbers need to come from another array( that goes from 1 to the max number in order). So the permutations[] array needs to grab random numbers from the second array and store them. The position is based on the position(or index) of the number. And no duplicates.

I am still pretty new to java so any help is appreciated. I hope the description makes sense. Thanks in advanced!

Hey guys. I am going into computer science and one of the main things about computer science is programming. Last semester, I went into a class that was all about java and the components and everything about it (functions, arrays, commands, etc.). The teacher went very fast and I learned really quick that you needed to know a little about programming for the class, which I knew nothing since I had decided recently to go into CS. I struggled in the class and passed with a C. However, I am not very good at it and I really need to learn programming, all languages if necessary. The teacher not only went really fast, he did not explain things every well and couldn't speak the greatest English. My next programming class starts Jan 14th and I am trying to look at Python and java again. Learning the basics is not only hard to grasp for me as a beginner, but also very boring. I cannot write code very well but I can write very basic ones. My question to you guys: how did you learn programming? Is there a better, possibly more entertaining way to learn? Any tips on learning programming and going into computer science in general?

I have a Canon MG3100 printer. It will print colored pictures but not text, not even colored text. I have plenty of colored ink but I am running low on black ink. Why won't it print colored text? Would simply replacing the ink cartridges fix the problem? I have to print out stuff for college and I need to fix this quickly. Thanks!

I need a cute and easy hair do for tonight and tomorrow. My hair is super thick, wavy, and a little hard to manage. It takes at least 45 min to straighten it. Have any thoughts? I know I can do a messy bun and pony tail, etc but anyone have any actual tutorials or suggestions I could do? Just saying bun or ponytail is a little basic, and I cannot braid my hair. Thanks guys.

So I went to the add or remove option in control panel and i theoretically uninstalled portal 2 as in its not in the add or remove programs box anymore. however when i go to my steam library it still shows up as installed and when i click to play to see what happens it says its executable or something. also in the Steam folder on computer it shows the portal 2 files and the 11.3 gigs are still there. so my question is do i just delete that portal 2 file on computer? How do i uninstall the game completely to get more space? thanks

The first thing I want to talk about is my voice. It is a lower sounding voice, however I am a soprano and can hit and sing high notes easily and on pitch. So when I record something on my computer for youtube doesn't sound quite right ( I have a Yeti mic and I heard its a better quality one). Have any tips or advice for this?

Second, I want to take singing lessons but I live in an area that doesn't have them and anywhere near me isn't that good or professional. What are the best in-home singing lessons to buy?

Hey guys. I made a youtube account and I would love to start making some covers to upload. Songs that sound good with my voice include I Dreamed A Dream- Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera songs, reflection- mulan, ect. Even though my voice is a bit lower I sing higher songs and can hit the high notes. Any suggestions for songs would be great!! Thanks in advance!

Ps- If anyone can help me, I have a Blue Yeti microphone and I record songs on my laptop however my voice doesnt sound quite right through the laptop. How do you make the recording sound clearer and more accurate? I am using audacity for recording. Thanks!
