  • Finishing my undergrad and I don't know what to do?

Okay, here's my predicament. I am in my senior year of college (undergrad) with a history major, and a minor in secondary education. I would love to be a teacher, I've passed all my testing and pretty much just have to graduate to be qualified. however, i've always had a secret dream of perusing a career with NASA. I am very good at mathematics/physics, perhaps better than I am at history, so that's not the issue. Rather the issue is (if you didn't figure it out) I am going into my senior year with a major that has very little to do with anything in the realm of aeronautics/physics. I was just wondering if anyone could provide me with some idea of how possible this is and what I should/ could do and how difficult it would be to make the transition.

    Thank you

Ipso facto I cannot access the internet to download a new driver. fortunately I have access to another computer and figured if I downloaded the driver on here and transferred it, that it would work. • Socialist views on the Jungle (1906)?

Hi, I am writing a paper for my class on the progressive era and am focusing on Upton Sinclair's novel the Jungle. I am trying to find sources, primary or secondary that comment on the Socialist Party's or Eugene Debs reaction to the book, if they were for it, against it so on. If anyone could give me a link to some of these sources, or could name a book i might start in it would help. I cannot find anything on it in reality

  • How much does it cost to backpack Europe?

My girlfriend and I were considering going to Europe for a 3 or 4 weeks after we graduate college not this summer but the next. I understand that things like this take a long time to plan so i'm getting a head start. So I was wondering, in general, how much it would cost to back pack with airfares, hostels, trains, food and so forth for 2 people. Now we want to see the sights and we don't want to live like poppers, but we don't need the highest amenities known to man either. How much, estimated do you think this would cost? thank you!

  • Why do I cough after I run?

    Hi all,

let me give you the background first, I am a 21 year old who just recently got back into running after a severe knee injury. I Tore my MCL playing football and then re-injured it again so I have been out of cardio workouts for over a year (excluding light rehab). Before I ran often and was on a route of 3 to 5 miles every day. Now getting back into it, i can get 2 if I push myself. My problem is not any soreness to my knee, rather when I run I produce a thick mucus buildup in my throat and it feels like in my lungs as well. also I cough for hours after I finish running, especially when I take deep inhales or laugh. could this be sports asthma or something else

    thank you

  • What if ours is not the only Universe?

    Hey guys and gals,

I currently am in a College history of science course and am writing a paper on the subject written above. before I ask for your help I would just like to say I am not looking for an easy way out, i really need help with this, I've researched a lot about this and though there is a plethora of information on what other universes would be like and how they would function and if they'd be exact copies, similar copies or totally different from our universe, their is nothing about an effect that it would have on our universe. such as, would it effect the theory of relativity, quantum mechanics, physics and so on. Thank you a lot for any help!

  • Is David Garrard anywhere near a deal with anyone!?

I have Garrard in my fantasy league. Hes sitting on my bench now and I'm extremely reluctant to release him because there is little value left in the Free agency. I'm justifying sitting on him by looking at his numbers from last year and (since we run a 2 qb league) if I have him and Drew Brees i will be unstoppable. however does anyone know if he is even remotely close to signing with anyone i've heard so many rumors but no actualities.

    Thank you

  • heel injured while running?

I went for a run several days ago and had to stop mid run and hobble home due to an unknown pain on the bottom of my foot. I figured it was not a bad injury but something that would quickly heal. its been 3 days and the pain still persists. it is right on the bottom of my heel and it is persistent only when walked on, otherwise i would never know the injury existed. could it be a stress fracture or a heel spur or what?

    thank you

  • heel hurts when running?

    Hi all,

so heres my story, I am a 20 year old male who recently had a serious knee injury playing football that has kept me from running since last august. today I went running for the first time and decided to take an easier 3 mile jog that prior to injury was not difficult. well everything was going well, and my biggest concern (my knee) was twinging here or there, but nothing my doctors hadnt prepared me for.

well about 2/3 through the run i got a severe pain in my heal and had to hobble the last mile home. I've ran since I was 14, and before my injury my Weight ranged from 190 to 200, but i know way about 220-225. could my Weight be the cause? or something else such as a heel spur? also a side note, it seems to go away when i have no shoes on, but hurts when i try to put a pair on

  • Fear of food touching?

Ok so i have this wierd thing where i cannot stand the site of certain foods touching each other, but its not that all foods cannot touch its just certain ones, i for instance can put apple sauce on my mashed potatos, but cannot stand the site of milk spilt on ketchup or i gag when i see someone put a plate on top of another with syrup on it (unless the plate on top is smaller, i dont get it either) certain things gross me out more than others such as getting mustard on the outside of a bowl or a napkin sitting on top of ketchup, more than other things, such as syrup on my eggs or stacked soup bowls... i was just wondering is this thing i have considered a phobia, or am i just wierd?
