  • "So You Think You Can Dance" costumes?

    Who actually picks the costumes for the dancers? Do the dancers themselves pick the costumes? Do the choreographers? Or do they pick from a set of costumes? Only reason I ask is because the judges seem to critique the the dancers for the costumes a lot, but if they don't have a choice, is that really fair?

    (I am asking on behalf of my wife who loves the show.)
