I was recently diagnosed with tendonitis in my shoulder. I am in physical therapy. My softball tryouts for my highschool varsity team are in two weeks and due to my tendonitis I can't throw for very long. I am a freshman and I am already nervous about making the team because obviously freshman are at the bottom of the line. Should I tell my coach I'm hurt or just stick it out? if I tell the coach I am hurt I am scared she wont draft me. Also, I am scared she won't draft me if she thinks I have a weak arm which is what it will probably look like if I play with my bad shoulder. HELP PLEASE!

I am a freshman in high school I am captain of my volleyball team, love hanging out with my friends, and I am smart. I wouldn't say I am bullied but what really bugs me is every time I do good in school, everyone turns on me! I have maybe two friends that are happy for me when I get a good grade but most of my "friends" get really mad at me! It makes me want to cry because I spend time tutoring them, I help them with homework, and I don't brag when I get a good grade, but they feel the need to get mad at me when I get the high score on the test or get a perfect score on a project. I don't know what to do! Is anyone else in this position? Can anyone give me some advice?!

Ok so I like this one guy Amos. He is so cute and nice and we are pretty good friends. The only thing is I'm not sure if we could ever be together because he is really really SHY! I don't know if he likes me because sometimes it seems like he does and his friends are always like "Oh look Amos its your girlfriend!" and "Dude make a move!", but then sometimes it seems like he doesn't like me. Also, I don't know if he would ever have the guts to tell me that he liked me even if he did.

Second, their is this other guy names Greyson. He is cute and really polite and nice. He and I are friends and I think he might like me. I would SO go for him except I think that this one girl that I am sort've friends with (we know each other but aren't close) might like him. I wouldn't want to steal him from her! Plus, if I went for Greyson, then Amos would probably never tell me how he felt because him and Grey are friends. What should I do?! I don't know how to choose one?! HELP!

I sprained my quad so I've been using kttape while running since then. I am also having knee problems now and I'm thinking about taping thoses to because the tape worked with my quad. My only concern is that this would be way to much tape!! what do you think? Would this make me look dumb and weak like I can't take pain?

I pulled my wad about a month ago and never gave it time to heal. It didn't get better so I went to the doctor. he told me I should sit out of sports for two weeks. Stupidly, i ran one race (i was supposed to run 4) at my track meet the following saturday (I went to the doctor on wednesday) and I hurt it even worse. I rested and it was feeling ok but then I slipped on mopped floors at school and hurt it again! Now I am restarting the two weeks from that friday. When I look for tips for healing it says I should ice my leg and stretch it some right away so it doesn't heal funny. I didn't really do that (I iced it some and hardly stretched it) because at the time I didn't know that was supposed to do. I still feel a pinch in my thigh. Will this go away with more rest or is this because my muscle healed wrong? If it did heal wrong what can I do to fix it?

I went our with this guy for 4 months. He was my first boyfriend and everything was great and then we got into a small misunderstanding (im not kidding it was stupid we weren't even fighting) and he dumped me. He broke up with me (not too long ago) bc apparently he didn't think it was working since we go to different schools...funny that he's now going out with a girl that lives even further away than me! :( He also said he just wanted to be single...find the new dating thing funny?

HI! Im 14 and in eighth grade. I play softball and I am a catcher. I plan on playing in high school but I know that if I don't put on a little more muscle I won't be able to keep my position as catcher. :( Im 5 feet 4 inches tall and I weigh 105 pounds. I would like to have like a workout routine that I can do everyday but no one in my family knows much about work outs or anything and I don't know how much I should do. I want to become STRONGER not skinnier because Im already to skinny! But does anyone have any tips for exercises or workouts? ANd how much? how long?

ok im 13 years old and im going to go on a group date with this guy and some other friends to a haunted house its probably going to be cold out (around the 40s) so what do i wear?
