Should Rosie be fired after her comments last week?

I don't know exactly where the British sailors were. The matter is certainly one for conjecture. I cannot stand Rosie O'Donnell. I refer to her as that "McDonalds like Supersized Hog,yes?" person, but I think that if you muzzle her, you're embracing the censoring of freedom of speech. Alot of people would counter by saying that when the speech is inflammatory and baseless in reality, the speaker should be silenced. However, she has just as much right to make an idiot out of herself as anyone else, and she does make the case for her own necessity that people should never forget that these types of people exist and the rest of us should never forget that fact. Maybe one day they'll put a wax figure of her next to Hitler in a museum as a reminder to future generations of the kinds of people to just ignore.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident did occur only not like is commonly described. The North Koreans attacked the USS Maddox and the USS Turner Joy on August 2nd 1964. Yes, they were attacked!

Two days later the Maddox, fresh with the memories of attack thought it was being attacked again. To those sailors, the threat was very real and they responded to the percieved threat by firing.

Whether there was a real threat on August 4th is the debate. This is what Rosie is saying to Google and is being dishonest in her dialogue in a national platform. Yes, the Gulf of Tonkin Incident DID occur on August 2nd. Two US ships were attacked. Was the Maddox attacked again on the 4th? Probably not, but the fact remains that the US military WAS attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Rosie is a kook and dishonest with her viewship and a revisionist at worst, and dead wrong ignorant at best.

Perhaps you think she should be "strung up for treason" as Danny Bonaduchebag suggested last week? What the hell is wrong with you people have you been possessed by Nazi ghosts or something? Break out of your zombie goose-step and turn off the TV stop listening to your lying government officials and do SOME thinking for yourself.

Rosie tried to tell you that every channel on your cable box is owned by FOUR CORPORATIONS...you are being lied to. For instance the supposedly "liberal" MSNBC is owned by General Electric and Microsoft...the number two and three defense contractors for the US government. They're making money hand over fist in the "war on terror"...do you really think they will tell you the truth?

You google "Gulf of Tonkin" because IT NEVER HAPPENED...the whole thing was manufactured for media consumption to escalate the Vietnam "conflict". Declassified documents in 2005 along with documents in the LBJ library show that no US ships were ever attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin...despite the fact that they (the US ships) did fire on North Vietnamese patrol boats.

A few months back, she made a very harmful statement about people with Restless Leg Synd. and the drug now used to cure and/or help it. This drug has changed my life 99% for the better and while I tried to Email her Honor, Ms Rosie, she does not accept Email from her fans, I presume because of so many upset people. But I did write to all the other ladies on The View and the very next week, who's commercial did I see sponcering the show???? My meds! And all she talks about is her poor little finger! There were evenings I wished to have my legs cut off due to the pain and walking all night to ease it as do million of others.

She is heartless and needs to think before she opens her mouth. The VIEW, is after all, a entertainment daytime show, not Crossfire!

PS: Where was she after the 9-11 hits? Using her power to get on her plane to get into Hiding in Miami, not helping her beloved New York City rally back, she did reruns for months!

Nor is she factual.

Today's (6 April) news conference with the British sailors clearly indicates that Rosie is a loony-tune and needs to be locked up...for her own sanity.

Should she be fired?

That is not for me to decide.

But I don't watch her show...and is a clear indication that she has one less viewer which advertisers should be aware of.

When you have a baby you can't wait for them to start to talk, but it Rosie's case her parents,if she really had any, should have had her vocal cords cut and done the world a great justest.

she should be but she probably won't because her mouth causes controversy which in turn increases ratings. Sad but true. She has absolutely no consideration for the feelings of others ,if she does she certainly doesn't try to filter the things that come out her mouth. She boo hoos about how she feels but in the same breath say something hurtful to or about someone else. But like I said it is about ratings not whether or NOT she is actually an articulate well informed individual. I don't watch the show, because it isn't worth watching and hasn't been for some time.
