I've got a guitar with a 3.25inch diameter and thinking of a quick mount pickup, which would be the best?

I was thinkin of buying a dean markley promag grand acoustic pickup, but was worried if it would fit for I have an AMI style guitar, also, what is the best kind of pickup for sound quality and price?

Update:

P.S. It's an acoustic guitar

If there's a music store near you that carries that brand of pickup, take your guitar to the store with you and try it out for size. They'll probably be happy to let you try out different brands, too. If you're ordering from a local music store, take your guitar in for measurement and advice. If you're ordering online, there should be a toll-free number to call to discuss size questions with a customer service person.

I did a quick search on musiciansfriend.com for acoustic pickups, and the results are on the link below.

Also, you might do a search on http://www.dogpile.com/ for musician's forums, guitar forums, guitar product review forums, "dean markley promag grand acoustic pickup" customer reviews, and so on. Get on some message boards and talk it over with some other musicians, they're always glad to help a fellow picker out!

    Hey, good luck!
