I am happy to be Black yes, but to say that I have pride is to say that I contributed something towards being Black, when I had no choice in what colour I am. (but I am definitely not ashamed). When people are racially discriminated it does affect peoples pride. Sometime you can feel that you are being judged by only your skin colour alone (and stereotype), and not the contents of your character or intelligence.

I think that those who discriminate on the basis of skin color show that they have no pride or dignity. It merely makes them look insecure and doltish.
