Can you completely accept someone regardless of their past? Or are some things just too much?

Could you date someone who had slept with 50 people, but now realized the error of their ways?

Could you befriend someone who once raped but now see's the wrong?

Any number of other evils?

Where is the line?

If you dated someone for a few years got engaged but before the wedding they told you they had murdered or something... what is acceptable and what is too much?

What about if your partner had once been with someone of the same sex?

Does any of this at all matter or can you just accept what they are and forget what they may have been?

I don't think i'd like to date someone that has slept with 50 people... But of course if I feel in love with them before finding this out, I may be able to look past it.

I couldn't be friends with someone that has raped someone... I just wouldn't be able to do it because of personal experience.

If someone said that they murdered someone before our marriage, I wouldn't go along with it. You should've told me BEFORE any of this happen... Where's the trust?

If he'd been with someone of the same sex... ABOLUTELY NOT!

Alot of this matters, you've got to be up front with people. Call me shallow if you'd like, but some things just aren't easy to deal with.

The number of people they were with before really wouldn't matter, as long as they didn't have some nasty disease because of it. Murder, well it would depend on why they did it, was it justifiable homicide, if not then no couldn't be with them. And rape, nope couldn't look past that either, unless it was one of those instances were the boy was 16 and his girl friend was 15 or something like that. Same sex partners, another I couldn't look past.

Somethings people can change about them selves, but most rapest will rape again, pedophiles will never change, people who commit violent crimes and go to prison many end up back in prison. There are some things you just cant look past, and it isn't worth taking the risk that they wont repeat there actions.

I think probably the people involved and when in life any or all of this occurs has a lot to do with whether one can accept or not.

I Can accept anyone no matter what you have done.If we have grown that close then you must be a genuine person. What gives me the right to judge anyone, I guess I think its not my place to judge their evil and if we have developed a relationship then you cant be that evil to begin with .People change and as humans we know ain't nobody perfect.
