Digital Camera display the message "Protected Card" when the Secure Digital Card is inserted. How do I solve?
I have owned the card for a year or so and it has been OK. It is a Kingston 1G

If you're sure the little "write protect" sliding switch on the side of the card is in the correct position, then send the card back to Kingston. They have a lifetime warranty.

Check the tiny slide switch on the side of the SD memory card. It may be on the lock position, switch it back to unlock.

Take the card and set the switch to unprotected...

Card may have become corrupt or have dirty terminals, clean its "teeth" and try again, if no joy you may have to format it using a PC.
