my turtle died. it just bloated out and looked like a balloon.can you give me possible reasons why it died???

Update:

its a water turtle. its a she but still young.so what should be the level of water i should have in a small tank with two young turtles???

    Sounds like dropsy was it a water turtle?

    If your turtle was a girl, maybe she was too full of eggs and obstructed.

    possibley a food poisening or alegerey
