Will I get served in a bar if my Primary form of ID is expired?

My Drivers license expired and I havent renewed it because I take transit to where I have to go because its cheaper than owning a car right now.

Update:

By the way, I dont carry any other forms like credit or debit cards when I go out to bars either, just cash and ID.

I used to work at a liquor store in Colorado, and state law required the ID to be valid. I now work in Wisconsin, and the same law applies.

As long as your license is a valid one and shows your date of birth,, it makes no difference whether it is expired or not.. The fact it is a drivers license,,has your picture on it ,,identifies you as the holder,,and it also states you date of birth..Expiration doesn't enter into the picture.. You can have an expired passport,,with your picture,,and date of birth,,same thing..There is also a state or province photo I D which shows birth date one can obtain who doesn't drive.. You should have no problem.. Just show it at your bar or pub,,guaranteed ,,no one is going to say ,"Oh, its expired!" They could care less.. The most important thing is your of age.. And your license establishes that !! Bottoms up!! SOLOMON

It's quite likely that you'll be served in a bar if you have the money to pay the tab.

Probably, unless they look at it's expiration date, which is unlikely.
