what is wrong with my PC?

when i boot up my machine.. it gives continuous beeps as if RAM were not detected and when i remove RAM it does not gives any beeps but does not starts (as expected) is there something wrong with my RAM or there can be something else ?

    Its your RAM.Either the socket meant for RAM has gathered dust and not in good contact with the RAM card or your RAM needs replacement.But before replacing RAM, thoroughly clean the contact points of the RAM card, with a clean cloth .This will remove any moisture or dust.If this also doesnt work,go for replacement of RAM.Good luck.

    i had the same problem once. make sure that your ram is in the closest slot to the cpu and order it from most to least.

    it fixed mine...

    In my opinion,may be your RAM is not enough.

    How large of your RAM??

    Make sure there is enough RAM for your text.

    IT MIGHT BE YOUR HARD DRIVE, LISTEN CAREFULY AND CHECK IF U HEAR LIKE METAL TOUCHING METAL, THAT HAPPENED TO ONE OF MY FRIENDS, HE EVEN BOUGHT NEW RAM, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THE HD
