Is there Camcorder mic?

I'm getting a Canon DC330 Camcorder... but i need to know, can i connect some sort of mic to it for better quality?

    I would look at the camera at a best buy or circuit city before buying it to make sure that you can connect a better mic. I bought the Sony DCR-SR42 ($550 at the time) and I was disappointed when I found out that I couldn't connect an external mic. If would have looked further I would have found that the DCR-SR85 (a higher model) actually had a port/dock for connecting external mics, lights, handles etc.

    You cannot connect a mic to that camera. Usually only the more expensive cameras have a mic jack.
