Eureka 7 is epic! If you like mecha, I guess you might like "Code Geass" because it has some mecha in it and the character is quite similar to Kira from Death Note. So far "Code geass" has 2 seasons and the second season is still airing. It's quite popular too. Another one I suggest you would be "Soul eater" from the episodes I've seen I don't see any romance going on but the show is basically comedy, action, adventure, and it's sort of like Bleach how they have the soul thing going on and yet, they can be very different. Currently, I'm watching "Katekyo Hitman Reborn" it's really funny and contains action. And sorry, there's no romance more of the guy character having a crush on a girl. But the storyline is very interesting because of how it's about mafia (more to it than that). At first you might find it weird but it's one of those anime where you watch a little longer you would get to the good part, it's when it hits the next arc it gets good.

HunterxHunter is GREAT, though kinda old.

For newer ones, try Soul Eater, it's damn good.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is fantastic too, but not really action-esque.

One of the best I think is One Piece. It has everything you could even want in anime.

full metal panic.<----i think thats what its called.watch it this summer on demand.its cool.really funny. has action and romance as well.

vampire knight.<----action&romance.not a lot comedy, just a tad.
