is eye laser safe and effective?

tell me about eye laser for myopia and astigmatism, is it safe and effective? are there possible complications one could get after doing it? And what happens to the eyes after several years, does it just go back or develop same eye problem???

    there are complications with any surg....but my dad had the surg 14 years ago and only has to have a mild per. to read (he use to have to wear what they call bottle cap glasses) I know alot of the newer doctors are willing to do touch ups as the years go by but my dad has never had to have them...Good luck it is a good thing

    Lasik is the proper term and yes it is safe. You should get it before you are 40 years old because presbyopia sets in at that time and correction is not fully guaranteed. You should get a free consult and see what they can do for you. Go to the experts and get the right advice.
