I'm not sure how i feel about your question. On the one hand it is a great question. But i also think it is a terrible question. Mostly i just don't care about the topic.

A valence is the power. Ambivalence is power in two directions.
Human ambivalence could mean the two human powers, male and female.
Or it could mean human indecision or the emotion felt toward a circumstance.

it refers to situations where "mixed feelings" of a more general sort are experienced, or where a person experiences uncertainty or indecisiveness concerning something. The expressions "cold feet" and "sitting on the fence" are often used to describe the feeling of ambivalence.
