They start sending stuff to people when they are about 15 kind of random mailing. They get information from schools and and other places. It is junk mail basically unless you plan on joining.

you cant be signed up for any military branch. they take fingerprints, require ids and junk.
they get ur address and phone number from the schools and WILL call you if you are a senior or junior between the ages of 17-19

Companies sell information like ages and mailing address. I got the same catalogs you are getting up until I turned about 35 and they stopped after that because of my age.

Yes, you're 100% going to the army because the pamphlets say so. And they can't be wrong because that's just ridiculous.
Good luck in Iraq!

It's called recruiting. They'll send you information so maybe you'll check it out and maybe be interested in joining. No one can sign you up except you.
Are you about to graduate or something?

Are you in high school? If so, all branches have rights to your name, address, and phone number. If the recruiters ask for it, the schools have to cough it up. No, it's not right, but it's the way it is.

You belong to the SNOBS now and will have to do what they say or they will make sure you never make more than $30,000 a year!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding. Did you just turn 18? That's probably the reason for getting all those brochures.

They do that to every high school senior. No one can sign you up for the military except yourself... hahahaha
They're just sending information to see if you're interested.

They used to call my boyfriend a lot when he was like 18-19. I don't know how they get the number or addresses but they tend to bug you a lot.
