Alternative solution to paying back money?

Your husband whom you are separated from asks to borrow $600 for 2 days and also mentions that he wants to start a business and needs $1,500 for a car, you sa you will have to see the guy and give it to him in his hand and see the vehicle. he receives $600.00 and he signs a contract to give you the money back in 48 hours and then uses the money without your permission to buy the car (it is his ex-co workers friends car) but later leaves you an e-mail after the fact.as a deposit. later states that he looses the money, to an ex-co-workers friend whose selling the vehicle. the person never returns his calls and doesn't know exactly where the ex-co workers friend lives because they go to a public area to see the car.
P.S: He's borowed this money feb 5, 2009. What alternative then going to court would be a solution to this problem?

Just write it off to experience. You got scammed and you will never see any money unless your husband decides to pay you back.  Make a promise to yourself to always trust your instincts in the future. You will think of this whenever someone asks to borrow money from you and you will say NO. 
The judge in the divorce case will make your husband pay you back.

you have to sue him, via a small claim court, or thru Judge Judy, unless u know some gangster who give him a call to pay, otherwise...
