I need more GOOD rap?

Nothing modern or mainstream please.

Rappers I like - Kool Kieth/ Dr. Octagon Gang Starr, Afrika Bambattaa, A little Public Enemy, and thats about it. Im normally a metal guy and don't listen to much rap.

    If you like rock, I would recommend The Roots, and since you like some Public Enemy, I would recommend more of them. lol.

    But The Roots are a live instrumental band. Drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion; the whole shebang. They're a great band/hip hop group. They're my favorite act in hip hop.

    Wu-tang and all the members solo albums. Lot of classics in there.

    My favorite however is A Tribe Called Quest

    Ok, one why would you want to listen to rap? It's stupid and guys who want to be tough listen to rap, guys who are already tough listen to Rock.
