What is worse Obama's deficit spending w/ increased taxes or his weak stance on foreign policy?

Citizens unite w/ Newt Gingrich just called my house and asked me this question. Why do Neo-Cons just not get it??? As far as I am concerned Obama is an extension of W's failed economic policies and more troops on the ground in Afghanistan is going to help what? Enough with the partisan rhetoric. What we have before us is more than 30 years in the making and one could possibly argue a 100.

Update:

Nostra~ Before you answer a question maybe you should read it, just a thought.

I always argue 100 year in the making, so here's my question:

Which is worse, the banking failure of 1907 or Wilson's response in 1913 with the Federal Reserve, the IRS and locking down the House of Representatives to 435 members?

On the economy, you can argue that Obama inhertated Bush's mess, but then I would argue that it was Clinton that set up the Bush Administration for failure, then you would say it's really Bush 41's fault for what happened during Clinton's reign, and so on, all the way back to Teddy and Taft. A few administrations might get a free ride from blame, like Truman, Ford and Kennedy.

The fact is bankers and Congress from both parties teamed up years ago but the American people have not united in protest.

Look at the current situation. Who lost all the money? Investors. Who's getting the bailout money? Bankers! What group donates the most money to Congressional incumbants during re-election time? Bankers!

Obama's foreign policy reminds me of Kennedy's first several months in office. It's the "lets all be friends" approach, which is good on paper, but seemingly not in the real world. Kennedy learned his lesson with Kruschev early on and toughened up because of it. Obama is going to have to learn that lesson or it's going to be a tough ride these next few years.

How about all of the above? I'm sure if they called your house they hung up with an earful of what they really are...The text you typed.

It's really sad, but we can't go anywhere but downhill regarding our freedoms, and Constitution as long as we have the two winged one party system of government.

Freedom is not free. Freedom lives only by the blood, sweat, and tears of the patriot. When the citizens of a nation sit back, and allow their lives to be led, against their nations best interests, and rule book(Constitution) by their own government, freedom is lost. Pre Nazi Germany is a perfect example of what happens when people sit back, close their eyes to reality, and allow their government be their nanny state. There is no having it both ways...If our nanny state doesn't end now, our freedom, and Constitution will.

  • Find a book called "Bankruptcy 1995" by Harry E. Figgie, Jr.

His predictions for the national debt and deficit have been pretty darn accurate. The only thing that was not very accurate was the date on which he stamped that the U. S.'s creditors would say "America is no longer able to make payments on the loans they took from us. We will no longer accept their money." But his predictions for what will happen are scary enough, and realistic enough.

False premise. They CUT taxes on the liberal middle and working classes. They are just push polling because our GOP has no new ideas and Newt's ideas are insignificant and wrong.

lol, another fox news question that is designed to NOT actually discuss issues, but becomes a forum where powerless and irrelevant republicants and insane conservatives can just bash obama.

    busted...

but seriously - unite behind disgraced former speaker newt gingrich? is that the best you have?

i actually have compassion for the republicants, but won't miss them...

Source(s): by the way, if we use the word 'republicant' 25,000 times in forums just like this one, it becomes an official word...
