Where can I get cheap clumping litter?
I already buy the 40 pound boxes from my grocery store. I go through it quickly, however, so I'd like to find a cheaper source.
I have room and can store it in bulk if need be, so does anybody have any cheap sources of cat litter?
Thanks!

Go to the phone book and look up feed stores or feed distributors - like MFA or something along that line...ask at the local grocery where they get theirs...ask a vet where they get theirs (they must go through a bunch! also).
Local feed distributor - that is where I used to work - 40# bags all the time. We did 20# but not that much. Buy in bulk and save a bit.

I use Walmart's Special Kitty, clumping. I think it's as good as any other one out there. Also, Tractor Supply has a good store brand for almost the same price as Wally. Cat & Dog food is cheaper there, too.

I'm a big fan or walmart myself. They have many varieties of cat litter and you can usually get it much cheaper there than at a grocery store. I like the ones with Arm & Hammer since they help shield the odors from getting into your home.

We buy 40 pounds of LitterClean at Sam's Clubs for just under $11
It is the cheapest price we've seen.
The reclosable bucket is also great for used litter. If there is any new litter that I don't put in one of the litter boxes, we have two large ones, I put it in a kitchen trash can and use the reclosable bucket for used litter.
Then when more litter is needed in one of the boxes, I pour it from the trash can.
When the bucket is full of used litter, I set it out with the trash.

If you go to to WalMart, they usually have litter much cheaper than grocery stores.
