    When writing equilibrium constant expressions from balanced chemical equations reactants or products that are solids or liquids are simply not included in the expression.

    Hypothetical example:

    A(g) + B(g) <--> C(s)

    Kc = 1/([A][B])

    C is a solid so is emitted from the equation for the equilibrium constant.
