Why does my lower back hurt when I bike?
The lower left part of my back hurts when I bike. (where my back meets my waist.)
Why?
Any way of fixing this problem or preventing it short of stopping to bike?
I do bike very very fast, but if I bike slower, it just starts hurting later.

David, aside from making sure that your bike is fitted to you properly, you might need to do some core exercise to strengthen your lower back muscles. A lot of riders do not realize that these muscles, which sit above and aid your glutes and hamstrings, get a fair amount of use in cycling. And a lot of folks neglect to build them up.
