Can I return my treadmill to walmart after I have set it up? I have the receipt!?

Okay I bought a treadmill so I can lose a pit of pounds, but I am uhappy and wished I could just had bought something else with the 100 dollars. So now I am wondering if walmart will take it back, and refund me. If so how will they do this? I am guessing in-store credit?

Update:

Yes I have the receipt.

I bought a treadmill from Walmart, and the thread kept skipping, so I am in dire pain. I hurt my right foot. YES, you can return it. I am not keeping something that stops from doing other activities

why don't you just keep it and use it???? I'm sorry, but the store, or any other store isn't a rental center...try something out and return it when you're done with it - or in the case of gym equipment, get it home and decide you really don't want to lose weight or you're too lazy to put in the effort. I mean that's really the issue isn't it? It just makes me mad working in retail when people do this because it doesn't just affect the company it ultimately affects consumers with prices going higher. The store will refund it within a certain time frame and say you're in that time frame, but still, what do you think the store is going to do with an assembled used treadmill? They'll have to eat the cost of that item. They may be able to sell it cheaper but they still lose money. You should really think about things before you just buy them. So, if you do return it how will you lose your "pit of pounds"?
