Microwave venting "Over the Range"?

What if any microwaves on the market to a better job venting? My Fridigidaire is OK but is extremely noisy when running even in the low speed, high is unbearable. A OTR microwave or Over The Range also has to be used as an exhaust fan so that's most important to me now. I was told 2 things about Samsung: 1) 400 cfm & the highest in the industry & quiet 2) They are junk and unreliable. I'm skeptical to buy Samsung. Please suggest what you have experience with. I plan on venting it outside to be effective. Also in stores no display microwaves are plugged in so it's not possible to hear it before buying.

OTR's are mostly unreliable and samsung probably is THEE worst company around now for home appliances. most OTR's are made by LG theyve pretty much got the market, a vent hood and a simple counter top microwave is a much more reliable out come but if an OTR is necessary might i suggest a high end brand look to see what cfm's different brands have, and look for its scones rating is, if you run over to the home depot they usually have a display of bathroom vents on display with different cfm ratings and scone ratings giving you a good idea on sound rating you want and cfms...but as a recommendation electrolux has a microwave they make which i believe is better then not or potentially a bosch OTR might suit your needs.

Most all Major Brands of Microwaves come as either or, vented or ventless it's just how it is installed, a Ventless one is one that blows whatever it takes in the bottom it blows back out the top, a vented one would be like a dryer as you described, and vented to the outside, when you get the new unit, just ask your salesman he should know. Hope this helps.

I've yet to see a decently performing over the range microwave combination. And they're really expensive and unreliable to boot. I strongly suggest removing it, replacing it with a simple range hood and a $150 super deluxe microwave on a counter or hung under a cabinet.
