Because they are just annoying dogs in everyway! LOL just kidding.. I have a pug.. You really just have to stay on top of the nails.. because if you let them grow then the nerve inside grows with them and it is even more difficult to clip later! I have no idea why they grow so fast.. but we usually clip them once a week! :D

EDIT: I also agree with Jessie.. we walk our pug every single day, twice a day so maybe this is why we only have to clip them weekly.. The concrete does help keep them down naturally! :)
