how to transfer from dvd to phone?
if i put in a mobile software dvd in my laptop and connect my samsung corby in the usb port and try to transfer the apllications such as fring etc., once i disconnect the phone those applis are in the memory card and "unsupported fle type" is the message that i get... how to go about putting the software in my phone?

find out what type of video files your phone supports (if any). Convert the DVD to the video file type your phone supports. Then you should have no problems putting it on your phone. Just remember the quality will be poor.
