My pc keeps rebooting... HELP PLEASE...?

I recently did a system recovery on my windows xp computer because it keeps rebooting. I suspect that it had some virus...

after that, after the system recovery process, when i put it on, i get directed to a black screen with the following instruction:

NTLDR is compressed

press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

I follow the simple instruction, but what happens is, i only get as far as this same page over and over, which tells me the same thing, "NTLDR is compressed... press ctrl+alt+del to restart"

help please, anybody with sound advise...

thanks...

Dear friend .,Dont Worry this happens if the operating system installed in the computer has got corrupted due to improper shutdown or other ways.

The only way to get rid of this is the ReInstall a Fresh copy of the operating system again.I mean formatting the c"drive of the hard disk where the previous operating system was loaded.
