I efiled my 2009 return and it was rejected?

I dont have my 2008 adjusted gross income or 5 digit #.

I dont have last years return. What can I do?

    Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 (Mon-Fri 7am-10pm) and ask for you 2008 AGI and PIN. If you filed it last year, then they'll have it on file and you just have to give them your Name, SSN, DOB, Address, Filing Status and answer some additional questions for disclosure purposes. If you didn't file a return, then your AGI is 0 (zero) and you don't have a PIN.

    If it was filed and rejected you need to file by mail, you no longer need your 5 digit or adjusted. Must be mailed.
