Find the volume of the parallelepiped with adjacent edges PQ, PR, PS where P(5, 4, -1), Q(7, 7, 2), R(4, 3, -2), S(11, 2, 1).
PQ = <2, 3, 3>
PR = <-1, -1, -1>
PS = <6, -2, 2>
Volume = PQ • (PR X PS) = <2, 3, 3> • (<-1, -1, -1> X <6. -2, 2>)
= <2, 3, 3> • <-4, -4, 8>
= - 8 - 12 + 24 = 4
