Legal question about child custody?

Went to court to help my daughter concerning our two grandchildren. My daughter had been physically abused during their marriage, the divorce was ugly and my daughter was initially given primary custody with $800.00 monthly child support. Two years have come and gone with each visit to the court resulting in more custody being given to the X and the money for support being reduced to $200 at present which he has never paid. A restraining order was give to protect my daughter and he ignores it completely along with the courts custody decree. The police have been called to his residence 11 times to protect my daughter when she has to go to his residence in order to retrieve her children. I have spent $6000.00 plus to support and help my daughter but nothing has helped. Is there an honest attorney that can give some good advise to a desperate grandfather and dad that is Truly in need of help. I have sooooo much more that I could put here, but this gives you an idea of my situation.

I don't know much about the law but there is one thing I know, that is you must move your daughter to a safe place during this entire process.

SHE has to initiate the Court hearing. SHE is going to have to tell the Judge HE is not paying the support. I Don't how the payments were set up, but I would insist he pay them through the Courts. That way, the Court will have a record of his payments. Also, because of his abuse when trying to retrieve her children from his visitation, INSIST that his visitations be held in a neutral place AND with a monitor! If he wants to see the kids, he will have to pay for the monitors time! If he has a job, ask the Court if it possible to garnish his wages for the back payments which he never made! Because the way things are going, she will never see a penny of it! If they lived in Maryland, he would be in jail as a deadbeat Dad! They don't fool around with just giving orders!
