What is the shortest way in going to Copenhagen if I'm coming from Paris?

We are from Manila, Philippines. My husband and I are planning to take a guided tour to Russia and Scandinavia next year using the services of Trafalgar. The tour starts in Copenhagen and ends in Berlin. Before we go to Copenhagen, we want to visit Paris and then go to the Lourdes Grotto in France. From what I learned, Lourdes is about 6 hours by train from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. If we use the Eurail, how long will it take? Should we instead take a plane from Paris to Copenhagen? If so, what budget airline can we use?

Will it be nearer if we visit Paris and Lourdes if we are coming from Berlin? What plane goes directly to Lourdes? Will the Eurail take us from Berlin to the Lourdes Grotto?

Please take a map of Europe and check out the different locations.

Lourdes is in the south of France, near the Spanish border.

Paris is in the Northern part of France.

Denmark and Berlin are way north from the north of France.

By road Lourdes to Kopenhagen would take 20 hours, by train 24 to 26 hours.

Your only reasonable way to travel is to find an airport near Lourdes and travel by plane. For the last little bit you can use train or bus.

The same also goes for Berlin, although the travel time will be a little bit less. 16 hours is to be expected. And from Lourdes you would have to travel on to a main airport.

And non of those travels will be cheap.

I think you best contact your travel agency and ask if they can get your travel sorted for you, this is the kind of nightmare travel if something goes wrong.

You can probably get a very cheap flight from Paris to Copenhagen. Take a look at easyjet, cimber or norwegian airlines - they usually offer cheap tickets around europe.
