    (2x^2)(-2x)=-4x^3 answer//

  • 1 decade ago

    (2x)^2 x (-2x)^1= -4x^3

    use your index laws.

2x rasied to the power of 2 is 4x, -2 raised to the (invisible) power of 1 is still -2x.

add them together to get -4x^3.

    2x^2* -2x

    = -4x^3

    not 4x^4
