Bobcat 743, what is it worth?
I am looking at a bobcat 743, but I am unsure of the year. It currently is in rough physical condition, and mechanically it is inop. It needs to be completely painted, and hoses will have to be replaced due to dry rotting. I think that i can fix the machine to get it into working condition farely cheap. I am just trying to get some ideas on what this machine may be worth. PS.. hours are unknown.

in running condition it's worth around $5k to $7k and no one wants one that's been worked to death as the price to repair them usually far exceeds the the value of the machine, and Bob Cat is the worst at retaining value, most of them are beat into the dirt, offer a grand and hope it runs and doesn't have a bunch of hydraulic problems, you might break even. better off with an old Case,New Holland or J D,
