is there any way to retrieve a deleted account on PS3?
my son inadvertedly deleted his account and is gutted!

If you are talking about an online account you can sign in to it on another user, however if you want data offline then I don't know if you can retrieve it. If the information on system settings shows an increased hard drive space, then I'm sorry as there probably won't be a way to retrieve it, however if it's the same space left you may be able to find a way. Ask Sony for more detailed info on this because I don't. Good luck hope you manage to find a way :)
P.S. You can check remaining hard drive space on System Settings and then System Information I think.

jus delete the user u use to use that account n creat new user. u should be able to this on the very left section of your ps3
