dell demension 3000 no video?

I recently got a dell demension 3000 for free after hooking it up it seemed to work fine up until i tried to turn it on today and have no video. I have checked all connections no help. The unit powers on, fans run, drive works, but still no video. Keyboard lights up but seems inop along with the mouse. I have tried a working power supply, hard drive, and ram, all have been no help. Any suggestions would help. I have also tried a different monitor and cord still no help.

When you start your computer, press F-8 to see if you can get into safe mode. If there is video there you may be able to replace the drivers for display which is in control panel. If no screen. The video part of the board has expired. Check the diagnostic lights on the back of the computer. Four lights green is good and all is well. Some yellow? Note which are and take that to Dell and look them up in a manual for your computer. This can be remedied with PCI vedio card. I checked Dell and your computer is not equipped with a AGP slot for that type of card. This is a beware warning, now that the video is gone, the rest of the board may shut down also. My 4600 expired this way. Link is below for a place I found that has new older Dell parts. Very nice people and decent prices. Hope it helps.
